Our Story
I have always liked creative freedom in my work. I’m a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT, with a B.A. in French Literature and a Connecticut State Teaching Certificate. I was fascinated and attracted to good food, new tastes, and artistic presentations, so as a college student in the mid-1970’s, I spent three semesters living in Paris, France, where I also attended a French culinary school in the Latin Quarter. When I began catering in Eugene, Oregon, in the mid-1980s, I felt like I had finally figured out my life’s passion. I absolutely love what I do and feel so fortunate that I can live one of my dreams of running a successful catering business and creating beautiful, delicious food.
I opened Café Louise in 1993 to provide elegant, contemporary, eclectic gourmet catering to private and business clients. In addition to wonderful food, we are consistently recognized for our artistic presentation and outstanding service staff. Every event, no matter how large or small, is planned in meticulous detail with each client. Rely on our experience and expertise for an easy to organize and guaranteed fun event.
